My House | Going Black

Happy Monday!
This weekend I woke up with an inch to do something to my house... I always have a few projects actually in the works, but none of them were scratching at me to be finished.
So I caved into my designer ADD and started a new one!
My 3rd bath is in the front of my house and used mostly for guests.  In living here for the last year and a half we have never used this shower or even put a shower curtain on it.  So I think of this room more as a powder room and not a room in which people will be putting on makeup and getting ready.
I have some plans for the bottom of the walls... I am not quite ready to share, but I am so excited about it!

A mirrored medicane cabinet came with the house, and though I use mine in my bathroom all of the time, this one never was.  I never liked the mirror next to the mirror thing, and it left no room for a hanging hand towel.  So we removed it and patched the hole.

I debated about painting the ceilings.  If you follow me on IG {savvydesign} you got a sneak peak... should I go black, keep beige {before we moved in we upgraded to a paint package and everything including the ceiling were painted the same color} or do a fun pop of color.  Just as quick as I made to paint the bathroom black I decided to paint the ceiling also.  I have 9ft ceilings it doesn't feel like it is coming down on you.  I hope to replace the fixtures this week...

Unsure of a black bathroom?
Here are some great inspiration photos.

Oh my gosh, I love it! I want a black room so bad, but that's not going to happen while we're still renting. Can't wait to see it finished.
