One Room Challenge | Where Are They Now

I have been honored to participate in the ORC 2 of the 4 times it has happened.  The wonderful Linda from Calling It Home came up with the challenge and wanted to check in with the past participants to see where the rooms are now, how we have changed them, or if we ever really completed that project that didn't quite complete in the 6 weeks...

The first time I did my master bedroom.

I have since moved out of that rental and into my current home were the only thing that has stayed in the room has been the headboard Chiang Ming Dragon pillow!
This is a horrible pic... but it is once again a work in progress!  I have changed out the bedding, the lamps, and painted the night stands black.  I have some great DIYs for this space coming up and the hubs is ready to get this room done!  Maybe for the next ORC?

The second room was my moms guest/play room...

This room has not changed {besides my brother living in it for 6 months last year} but now it is back to normal.  It has worked perfectly for my boys to play in and have sleep overs and it has worked when my parents have out of town guests by pushing the two twins into a king!  It is the best of both worlds for the only other bedroom in their house!

And it is back people!  I am so excited to gear up for the next round!  I have so many rooms... it will be hard just picking one!  Are you up for the challenge?

Be sure to stop by Linda's blog to see all of the updates for all of the participants!  It is always fun to see the reality of life, or the changes us crazy designers make in our own homes!

Happy Friday!

Thanks for the lovely compliments and the link. My family would not call me 'wonderful', so I'll take it when I can get it. You did the most amazing jobs on those rooms. I am surprised to read that your bedroom did not stay completely the same in your new place. I loved it. I know you have so many amazing DIY's up your sleeve, it will be fun to watch you work.

The rooms look lovely. I noticed you used the same side tables but tweaked it a little for your new place.

And this is what they called lovely! I can’t help to introduce your style to my wife, to make one of the rooms more comfortable. I was a little edgy to say that the photos with two beds are absolutely beautiful!
