Recent Antique Finds | Stainless Steel Trunk

Over my break we headed up to Chico to help my MIL transform one bedroom in her house to an office for her.  We took a few pieces of furniture she had and painted them out in ASCP pure white to match a new desk.  We had to pick up the paint from one of my favorite antique malls in Chico, so of course we spent some time browsing.
We were almost all the way through the place when I turned to find this amazing steel trunk!
You know when you just know you need something, but have no really need for it?  That was this piece.  I know I NEEDED this, but had no ACTUAL NEED for it!  I almost walked away... but my MIL decided this should be my "payment" for doing her office!  Thanks so much MIL!
I love working for family payments!
I think I will be storing extra blankets in here for when the boys have their friends over and they want to make beds in the playroom.  Plus I could always use more storage!  So I guess that was my need!
The finish is totally not perfect and it is beat up a little beat up... but that is what I love about it!

Did you have any great finds over the holiday season?
