Manic Monday | Weekend Review

This weekend went way to quick! But I have to say there was a good balance of R&R and DIY. Two of my favorite acronyms!
J was awarded his first trophy on Saturday for his first season of soccer! It was super fun/frustrating watching him play his first season on a team! But he is 6... I know he is not going to be the professional soccer player, and he showed a huge improvement from the beginning to the end of the season! I was so proud of him! But on the way there this happened...
Yup... The important thing is that everyone is ok!
I tested out some new thanksgiving app recipes! Who better to test them out on then a bunch of hungry girls cooking and drinking some wine? They were a hit and I will be sharing this week!
Cooking day was so much fun! The amount of food I came home with is amazing! I will do a full post on this tomorrow... I highly recommend you get a group together now and stock your freezers up before the holidays come!

Hardwood floors were installed this weekend for a client. I love the rustic finish! Can't wait to finish up these rooms!
But my favorite project of the weekend was working on this beauty! After a lot of design meetings with the hubs we finally came up with the perfect seat design for around our fire pit! It will be done in the next couple days! I could not be more happy with it! Just in time for cool nights next to the fire!
On another note... is anyone having trouble with blogger? I had to write this entire post in HTML because I could not get my cursor to stay working in the compose field. So if this post looks weird I apologize... so frustrating! Just when I think I got this computer crap down! Hopefully it will fix itself!
How was your weekend?

So happy that your family is ok, accidents are so scary, again glad no one was hurt! Congrats to your son, soccer is huge in our house & so much fun :)

All the food looks delish! And the backyard setup looks good too :)

Yup, I'm having issue with Blogger too, new posts aren't showing up in my blog feed (very annoying)
