My House | Fiddle Leaf Fig TREE

Yes... I am obsessed!
Shortly after I posted about finding and purchasing 2 med size fiddles at Home Depot, I was surprised again!  Laura from Elegant Nest stumbled upon fiddle leaf fig trees at Lowes.  Yes!!! Actual trees, not plants, with long trunks and full, bushy leaves!

I couldn't resist picking one up!  They have a higher price point at just under $50, but for the space I have been trying to fill in my Family Room this guy was worth the $!

Big change from this small one...

Since it is tucked in the corner and can't really see the plant stand I am keeping it on there for some height until it grows a little more.

And then the next day I went to pick up another one!  Since moving in I have wanted a large fiddle tree in this corner of the dining room!  And if I returned the ones from Home Depot I was only spending a few $ more!

I already killed a small Ikea one in this location, but hopefully with the installation of sheers and drapery panels, the south sun light will stay bright but not hot!  Fingers crossed!

Even though Lowes has an one year money back guarantee, I am determined to keep these plants healthy!  In my last post Ashley from Domestic Fashionista shared a link in the comments that was super informative when taking care of fiddles.
I am reading this site daily to memorize everything there is to know about the care of a fiddle leaf fig!
Are your shoes on and are you running to Lowes now?!?!?

I found plants at Walmart for $4 a piece! I grabbed 4 of them, but a tree would be even better since I would want a tree for our new breakfast area! Please check out my new kitchen if you have the time Tiffany, I am so proud of it. :-)

Looks fab Tiffany! Love how you have it on the plant stand for some extra height. Good luck to both of us on keeping these beauties alive.

They look great and they fill out the space really well. I love the look of live plants indoors.

arrghhh..Trying to find to wrap up a project this weekend but in Miami? I'm guessing there's a reason why I haven't found one?

Lowes? Really?? I love it in your dining room!

I'll have to go in search of one since I SO want a tree!

I picked up the Ikea one and nearly killed it (and I have a green thumb) and not some of the leaves are coming back. Do not water it more than once a week and make sure to never have it sit in a saucer with water..

Love it! I, too, have been an admirer of the fiddle leaf, but I had NO idea you could get them at Lowe's! Obviously, I don't spend much time in the garden section! Your trees look great!
