This Week I....

This week marked the end of our first school in this house!

J graduated from Kindergarten!  A super simple little ceremony, but still a benchmark!  He made some great friends and is now a reader and a speller!

For his teacher J helped me make a super cute lemonade kit.  I totally stole to idea from Darnetha
from ChippaSunshine!  I totally stole her pic too... because I was a bad blogger and didn't take any pics!!  Check it out.. she even has free printables!

We took the kids bowling for the first time!  A group of 6 families all found some time to go at the same time!  The kids all loved it!  Arn't little feet in bowling shoes so cute?!?!?

I was running errands and ran over a huge bolt to find myself with a flat tire.  I went into have it fix and left with 4 new tires!  I sort of knew that was coming...

I found a pair of these amazing chairs at an upcycle thrift store I visit often... they were $38 each!!  I would have snatched them up, but I am trying to be good and save as much $ for the backyard as possible!  And they were comfortable too!

I have spent most of my work week on the computer on CADD drawing kitchen layouts for a new E-Design client.  I am super excited to share this project with you... hopefully soon!

Taco Bell Mexican Pizza

Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Dip
I made these two recipes I pinned from Pinterest this week!  Both are huge hits!

While I was searching for these pins I realized you can just search your pins!  Click "just my pins" and only your pins will come up.  I must of loved the idea of mexican pizza because I have three different pins for one!  Crazy!

A little bit of progress has been made on the backyard.  We added bark to the boys play area.  At least now they don't come back inside little dust balls!  It certainly has motivated us to get working on the rest!  Hopefully more to come this month!

It is going to be 107 degrees here in Nor Cal on Saturday!
Stay cool!
