Our House | Outdoor Decor

Since I don't have a backyard to refresh for the season I thought I would add a little more character to the front of my house.

Last week I shared my new DIY concrete planters.  Then decided I needed one more large one on the right side and two small ones in front of the arch way.  I will get to that soon... hopefully!
We also have plans to add steps to the front door, and build a front patio, but with focus on the backyard, I really needed to keep this simple.

For a simple and inexpensive update I swap out the generic plastic tile address numbers with some thing a little more our style.  All of the homes come with this black framed, always lit address plaque so it is the perfect place to have the address.  Tomorrow I will share how I changed this out for less then $15!

At the front door I added some modern style wrought iron garden trellis I found at HL.  In front of these is where I will be adding the two small concrete planters.

I had planned on switching out my door wreath for a new summer one.  Again I picked up the driftwood wreath on clearance at HL and added some faux succulents {but they look so real!!} and some seashells.

I also picked this welcome rug up from the clearance end cap at Target, and I love the pop of color.  I an now thinking of some thing else here... maybe it will change next week!  HA... that is how I roll these days!

Defiantly a work in progress... but I am getting there!

Tomorrow is the Link Up party for all of your outdoor decor!  I can't wait to see what you have all been working on!

Don't forget the visit all of the other ladies sharing their outdoor decorating projects today!

Love those house numbers, and the front entrance is looking so welcoming. New homes always take a while to get where you want them, but you're off to a great start!

Not gonna lie, I'm kinda bummed I live literally RIGHT next door to you. I imagine it would look strange if I had the same exact amazing designs. LOL. I think I just might have to get with you to help me with some different but equally fabulous ideas. LOVE the address numbers!

I wish I could join in with outdoor decorating projects to share but it's just too darn cold here yet to get anything going! Worst spring ever! Love your house numbers!

Nothing is better than a snazzy house number plate. We had stickers for the longest time stuck to our garage door! Yours look fabulous!

Your wreath is amazing! Did you find your succulents at HL too? They look so real.

I LOVE that front door mat!!! I'll have to run to my local Target to see if they still have it. My front porch is in need of some serious TLC. Thanks for the inspiration!
