Savvy Bites... Kitchen Warming Luncheon

Last week I shared a few photos of the food my mom and I served at her kitchen-warming party.  Again... really just a reason to get my friends together and enjoy the day, but still a reason to show off the kitchen!  Which we spent all of 5 minutes in and then went outside because it was so beautiful!

The Menu

Grilled Chicken and Brie Panini's with Sriracha Aioli

Farmers Market Roasted Vegetable Salad Stuffed Avocado

Sam Choy's Hawaiian Pineapple Sangria

The sangria is one of my favorites and it is the exact recipe from the Four Season's Hualalai on the Big Island where my parents used to live.  My dad had to do some convincing to get it, and I am sure he promised never to tell... so keep this our little secret!

My mom has the perfect yard for entertaining!  It feels like you are sitting in a park with a little river {she has a great waterfall} in the background.  A great area to have cocktails and then a very large table to dine al fresco!  My 4 closets friends, my mom and my grandma all really enjoyed the day!

And as the perfect topper, one of my friends works for the California Tourism Board and gifted us all goody bags full of fun stuff.  An iPhone cover, portable speaker and luggage tag.  Seriously... I have the best friends!

The food looks SO good. As does the Sangria, and heck the prosecco too. :) I'm so jealous, it is still so COLD here in Chicago...I so want to have a nice dinner outside with friends and family! Did I miss a kitchen reveal?!?! Must go check it out and see...
