Client Project Update... Master Bedroom

Late last night I was over at my friend/clients house installing cornices I finally finished for her.  I will share pics soon!  I started her bedroom over a year ago!  In all fairness they thought they were going to move for most of last year so we sort of put a pause on the design work.  I don't usually take a year to finish a project!

This is how I left her room... We have since added panels to another window {not pictured} and cornices above these windows.  Now we are discussing selling her bed on CL and downsizing a bit.  Not the size of the mattress, but the bed itself.  The bed she has now is almost 9" longer at the foot of the bed and 6" on either side!  The room is not super small, but not large, so a smaller bed would make it feel way roomier!

This is the bed we are thinking.  Pure love!  And for less then $800 for the whole bed or under $500 for just the headboard, it is a pure steal!  I have another friend/client that just purchased this same bed in a Navy Linen!  So pretty!

What do you think?  Large bed or streamlined headboard?

Totally go for the new upholstered headboard if the budget allows! :)

Love that bed, and I say go for the whole thing! It will really cozy up the space.
P.S. Your lovely guest post is up!

This room looks fabulous. I love the scheme, and I know about extended wood around a bed, it's a pain in the neck to bump into and takes up extra space. I say YES to the new bed and headboard!
