Yesterday was my 500th post! I really can't believe I have had 500 posts and have found that much to write about! HA!
Even though this is Organize month on my blog I have a few unfinished projects I really would like to get done before I tear my house apart to put it back together in a more organized manner.
You remember my epic fail with my first cornice?
Well my Mom and I worked all weekend on the new ones and here is a little sneak peak:

I am so in LOVE with them! I have no other words... so in love! We also did the same cornice for over the slider, and panels for the slider door. I still have a few more things to do before I can hang them!
When I am on CL sourcing items for clients I give myself 5 mins to look for me. I typically type in the keywords MCM, Modern, Vintage, Eames to see what is out there. And last week I came across this teak table! And you will never believe the price....... $85!!! There is some work to be done on the top, but it has two leaves and they are in perfect condition! The wood work on this is just amazing! I am so excited to get this into my house!
I want to pair the table with these chairs:
What do you think?
Hello Living Savvy readers, Lindsay here from Everything LEB. My organizing tip isn't really a tip, but more of an item that I can NOT live without. That item is a tray!
Trays organize just about everything in every room of my house. I have them in my family room on the coffee table to corral 100 remotes my husband insists on having. I have one in my front hall for mail, keys and all the junk that ends up there.
I have one in my kitchen and use it as a message center housing pens, pencils, paper, etc. I have a few in my bedroom, 1 on the nightstand to organize lip gloss, hand cream, a candle and other necessities.
Also one on my dresser where I keep my daily jewelry that never really gets put away. Moral of the story is without trays my life would be a little messier. There is just something about a tray corralling a mess that looks so much better then having a mess all over.
So go grab a tray and corral that mess, trust me a mess really does look pretty if it's in a tray!
Thanks so much for having me Tiffany!

Ah, so much better! I love the ribbon trim. Also love those chairs with that table. Now I need to go buy some trays. Our mess is everywhere.
Ok doll. Can you give me instructions for this DIY? I am going to be making some of my own and am hoping for a little guidance. xoxo

I have that same teak table and I love it; it is solid wood and so sturdy. Great find, and love it with those chairs.

the cornice looks AMAZING.
Love the cornice and panels Tiffany - they look great! My Mom helped me with a few window treatment items over the weekend too - feels good to get them accomplished.
Amazing score on that table!! Matching it with the Eames chairs is perfect. Like I mentioned on Instragram, I have pretty much the same table but in a more oval/rectangular shape. We have Eames chairs in the living room and they match up perfectly. Maybe one day we'll get enough for the dining room too.
