Cornice Update... Done!!!

I know I have been promising a cornice tutorial... but this is not it!  My computer is acting grumpy... maybe it is because I have been using and abusing it since 5:30 am ?!?!  But since I am not in the mood to fight with it right now, I am happy to share the pics of them  finished!  I am so excited to have this project marked off my todo list!  And I promise a tutorial tomorrow!

I apologize for the pics!  Of course I decided to take pics on the only rainy day for the last 30 days!

They turned out super, extra, amazing!
Totally what this room needed... well, besides a coffee table, pillows in the wing backs, and new dining chairs.  But hey... it is progress!

I do not like to waste paper, so i love having chalkboards in my home to leave messages, make lists, etc.  I am currently in the process of adding a chalkboard wall to this house- I miss the one we had in our last house so much! (pictured here)  We used it for keeping a running grocery list which was highly convenient.  As we ran out of things we would just write them on the wall, and then we had a thorough list of what we needed when it came time to hit the store.  Now, I used to email this list to myself but was recently telling a friend how when I was shopping I often accidentally deleted the list from my email while shopping!  She had a great idea... take a picture of the list with my phone.  A photo is harder to lose on the phone than an email is! :)
