Working On...

I love it when I have lots of projects going on at once... though the hubs not might not agree with me!  Yesterday I was able to visit one of my favorite discount fabric stores on it's last day of business.  I am so sad it is going out of business... but not sad over the 50% off everything in the store!

I totally scored!  The blue fabric I have been in love with for the last few trips, but just couldn't seem to find a place for it.  Until my mom suggested I use it to reupholster the chairs in my master bedroom {yes I already did the one, and yes I am changing it again!!}  I was totally shocked when I go to pay and he tells me it is double wide!! 108"!! So it is like getting double the yards!  $2.50 a yard... totally a score!  The other beautiful, pearly, animal something, is going to be used to upholster this table...

This was one of my first paint laminate projects.  It used to be my side table in the rental, so it has taken some beating!  It is in my entry now and will stay there after I cover it with that fabric!

Even though it is not spray painting season, I felt the need to bring out the cans and freshen some things up.  I can you tell what I am going to do?  I will reveal next week!  The only way to spray paint in the winter is to be patient and heat it up!  I use this plug in heater after I am done spraying for faster drying times.

Everyday work on my moms kitchen is coming along... right now I am working on their countertop quote, and small cabinet order they will have to make to fill in the spots.  Pretty soon all of the rough electrical and plumbing will be done and we can close it up and start hanging the cabinets.  My mom also scored at the fabric store with fabric for valences in the kitchen and seat covers for her dining chairs.  One was $3.50 a yard and the other was $3!!!  Love me a good bargain!!!

Can't wait to see what you spray! I've been itching to get into the spray paint for awhile but pregnancy has stopped me (not the best idea while preggo), so I'll live vicariously through you.
