Our House... Project Update

Happy Friday!  

Or for me Happy Move in Day!!

Today we are moving out of your two storage units and into the house officially!  J and M have been a little confused as to why we spend the entire day at the "new house" but then come back to sleep at Nana and Papa's.  They are very excited to get to sleep in the "new house" tonight.  I wonder when they will stop calling it that??

I know I promised some picture updates, but I am a bad blogger and left my camera at the "new house"  so the only pics I have are the ones I have shared on twitter or instagram.

These cabinets were moved into the laundry room and this wall will get tiled with open shelving.

The beginning of prep for the stripes in the family room.

Instock cabinets + wine refer + butcher block top from ikea = extra storage, bar, buffet!

A little peek at the stripes, and my CL table I picked up a couple months back.

Here is the list of projects we were hoping to tackle before we moved our stuff in

Epoxy garage floors

Remove cabinets in the kitchen

Remove micro/vent cabinet

Install kitchen cabinets in laundry room

raise shelf/pole in laundry room higher

Paint stripes in family room/kitchen dining

Install wine cabinet buffet

Paint kitchen walls {where needed}

Remove 4" granite backsplash

Block out walls for shelving and hood

Most of the list is done, plus we have moved most of our stuff out of my moms house.

Here is our list for the weekend:

Move electrical outlet behind hood
Remove 4" granite backsplash
Block out walls for shelving and hood
Tile backsplash and wall
Install shelving
Install hood
Install new outlet in pantry for microwave
Install new faucet
Install garbage disposal button
Finish crown on cabinets in kitchen/laundry room
Paint laundry room patches

It should be a very busy weekend!
