Hi Savvy Readers! Carly here from A Simple Affair, and I was thrilled when Tiffany asked me to share my five fall favorites, especially since it's my favorite time of the year.
1. Pumpkin picking. Nothing says fall to me like finding your perfect pumpkin and deciding how you're going to carve it. Plus pumpkin seeds are just delicious so that's an added bonus to the carving process.
2. The food. Pumpkin anything, apple crisp, caramel apples, and warm chai tea. I don't think I need to expand too much more on this one.
3. The clothes. The sweaters, the button downs, the scarfs, the flats, the booties, the boots. Fall is by far my favorite to dress for. Nothing beats the chic yet cozy pairings you can create.
4. Everything outside. The colors are beautiful so I try to sit outside and enjoy some chai or go on a long walk. Of course I intentionally step on as many leaves as possible to hear them crunch {a true sign of fall}.
5. The cozy nights in. I love the nights in spent by the fireplace with loved ones. Not to mention curling up in the warmest blanket you can find with a pair of equally warm and fluffy slippers. This should ideally be combined with numbers 2 & 3.

Oh yes... The food is the best!!!! Caramel apples, pumpkin everything and food at the state fair ( in Dallas)!! No wonder I put on weight during this time! Haha just more to keep me warm! Xoxo
