Hi! I’m Katie from Revitalized Relics and I have no shame… Yes, I have an addiction to spray paint. It’s true. I buy it in all colors at all stores and it sits in my garage and waits. And then it happens... I am at a thrift store or even a discount home store and I spot something that is screaming to be made over. I throw it in the car, get it home and I can’t even wait. I must spray it stat! I pick a color and spray away! My addiction doesn't discriminate. I paint lamps, candlesticks, and lots of other miscellaneous home décor items.
I really couldn’t pick just one thing to share with you kids today, so we’re going to do this buffet style and I’m going to share a little medley.
First up is this lovely artwork. Yes, I love puppies and kittens as much as the next person, but come on...not in this case! I loved the frame, however. So, I snagged it from Goodwill.

Next on the menu are these antlers, which were also a Goodwill find.

I recently visited a Southern Living Idea House here in Georgia and they were all over the house. I loved them, but wasn’t in love with the price tag. I detached the votive holders and gave it a nice coat of a glossy white. Lovin’ the way they look atop these books on my table, but I doubt this will be where I keep them.

This brass pitcher with the swan handle was a good shape and I thought it just needed a coat of white to freshen it up.

And now, it’s the perfect little vase for fresh flowers or dried lavendar!

And finally we have this wicker/faux bamboo shelf. It was dusty and all alone on the shelf at the Goodwill.

And now, it’s a vibrant orange and ready to be hung somewhere to show off a collection.

Well, there ya have it! Amazing what a little can o' spray paint can accomplish, isn't it?

And now let us all repeat the Spray Painters Mantra:
Friends, help me source all the items I am searching for but can not find.
Give me the vision to think outside of the box and remember the can of spray paint,
and bless me with the patience to let each of the coats dry before I move on to the next step!
Cookies and coffee are in the back! =)
