Hello Happy Friday! I seriously just feel like I was writing happy Monday! Oh how time is flying!
This last week I spent some time out and about doing a little sourcing and I was very impressed with what was a available at Homegoods. Sometimes that store could be hit or miss... especially if you are looking for something in particular. But maybe because I told myself I most certainly, absolutely do not NEED to buy anything is why they had so much I WANTED {I am trying to live by the need not want rule...Ha!}

| $99 I so WANTED those gold occasional tables! For $120 total... certainly a steal! And that leather wingback with the nailhead.... totally worth $199!     This trip the lamp selection was off the hook! I wanted to throw all of my current lamps out and replace them with these! Totally in love with the glass and chevron and mercury glass lamps!    Ok... Seriously that starburst mirror was only $22 on clearance and there was not a single thing wrong with it! I debated for over 10 minutes if I should just buy it because it was only $22. You never know when I might need it or a clients??? But I walked away! NO hate comments please! I loved the little london poster... I felt it was a little nod to the Olympics that have totally sucked the time away from me while I watch sports I never even knew existed... like Handball?     The clearance was really rocking too! I spied several pieces that were interesting and would have snatched up if I could find the NEED in them! I SO NEEDED this chevron rug... come on it is chevron and red, how can I not NEED this sometime in the near future. But alas my mom talked me out of it since I was not sure exactly what I color pallet I would be using in the entryway. But why couldn't I base the decor off of the rug... it wouldn't be the first time! But she was right... and I walked away!! Again, please, not HATE comments! HA! Hope you all have a great weekend! I think everyone else's Homegoods are better than mine (the grass is always greener right) but seriously, I never find this stuff at ours!
Ummm...yeah I'm going to need to figure out a way for you to get those gold tables out the the east coast. Those are incredible!
Did you seriously leave that store without buying anything?! You definitely have more will power than I do...those gold tables would be in my home for sure!
But you have a HOMEGOODS! The nearest one to us is over an hour's drive:(
I go nuts in those stores. I never "need" what they have!!! Good girl in walking.....and taking Mom's advise!
I cannot believe those prices!! Oh how I wish we had a store like that in Oz!! Such cool stuff and I am in awe of your self restraint!!
But you just gotta trust that when you're ready, the right pieces will be there waiting at the right price too ;-)
Home Goods kills me. I covet their current brass and glass tables that look like the Worlds Away $$ ones! I didn't see the same ones in my 2 HG stores though- guess I have to go back! haha.

I saw that gold table at my local homegoods as well. I was thinking of buying it but i left it behind. Will power is something I have a hard time doing :)
