We moved into our first ever home last August and I began reading DIY blogs and pinning like crazy, and that’s when I decided to tackle my first project: shutters as indoor wall art for my living room. I was just a beginner and used the $.99 stuff from Walmart, it took three or four coats but when it was done I was hooked!
A few months later, the itch hit me big time, I re-painted a dark brown accent table for my living room.
I covered up an ugly metal mirror from my bathroom:
This week I went all out on a project I’ve been mulling over for a while. I spray painted the 30 year old hand-me-down dresser that lives in my master bedroom:
Whew, thanks Tiffany for letting me air it all out! I’ve got tons of other spray painting projects circling around in my head, and plenty of other DIY ideas too, please feel free to stop by my blog and encourage them!
Be sure to check out Stephanie's blog Sandpaper and Glue {super cute name right?}
She is tackling one DIY project at a time!

And now let us all repeat the Spray Painters Mantra:
Friends, help me source all the items I am searching for but can not find.
Give me the vision to think outside of the box and remember the can of spray paint,
and bless me with the patience to let each of the coats dry before I move on to the next step!
Cookies and coffee are in the back! =)

Hey girl... not sure if you're aware, but the pictures aren't coming up? I'd love to see those shutters!
I got the pictures...Just clicked! The three items are fabulous...my favorite--the absolutely fantastic blue dresser. WOW
I feel like we have spray painted every item in our house---and we started with bath mirror frames! Last Christmas we sprayed ALL the decorations different golds, they were silver. Took weeks but was so so glam when done!
Nice job! I love the accent table. Now I have a cool new blog to follow too. Thanks!! :-)
