Spray Paint Projects from Goodwill

Since spray paint season has opened I have been spraying up a storm!  Most of the projects have been for my mom and clients, but I have a few projects for myself.  My mom and I have been frequenting the Goodwill in search of items for her house, and along the way I tend to pick up a thing to too also.

I picked up this incredibly cute owl, who I named Alfred thinking he would be cute sprayed white.

He is so stinking cute!

I also picked up this green red and white octagon tray for $.99!!

Thought the colors made me think of Christmas, I love the shape!

A quick spray of Catalina Mist and it pops off my coffee table!

Have you sprayed anything lately or found anything good from the Goodwill?

Also if you are interested in guest posting for my Spray Painters Anonymous Series, and share you addiction to the can please contact me!  I am scheduling for July and Aug!

I am really only just jumping on the spray paint bandwagon - I have done a few things in the past like lamps and such. But it wasn't until recently I discovered I could buy it from a discount store for $3 instead of $13 at our hardware store, that I have been using it a lot more!! I know, where have I been right? Everyone else knew about cheap spray paint a gazillion years ago!!
So I would not have given that owl a second glance but look how cool and modern he looks now!! I can't wait to go thrifting again now so I can look for some cool treasures like him...instead of just furniture;-)
Perhaps I am a spray paint addict inductee?! Or apprentice?! And you are my mentor!!

Cheers,
Courts x

I've got to admit, I've been looking for some kind of "creature" to spray paint white, and I love your little guy!

I love Alfred and he looks great white! That tray is also perfect after spray painting it. I keep putting Goodwill on my list of places to go and check for goodies! Maybe tomorrow? Question for you: I always spray a primer first on things then spray with my color. Is that what you do as well?

WOW, your blog always gives me such great ideas. I probably wouldn't have noticed the promise of that tray after painting it! Love it.

Alfred is the cutest! :) Spray painting directors chairs this afternoon - they are a beast! Too many sides and angles.

I love your little owl - he turned out really well! And the tray is fab, too!! As for me spray painting anything lately... sadly, no. I have 3 projects on the go, but they're all with a brush!
