I am very fortunate to have been raised by both my mom and dad together in the same house. I can remember my mom doing most of the decision making/discipline for my brother and I, but when she had had it... we were left to face my dad. My dad is not a man to loose his temper {unless you cancel a fight or mess up his travel plans} so when he would look at us and say those 4 words that words "I'm disappointed in you" the tears would come and all I wanted to do was to please him!
My father has been an inspiration to me and has guided me to be the person I am today! There have been times I have disappointed him, but he has always stood by my side. I could not have had a better father!
And now as I see my husband raise our children, he has those same qualities.
I couldn't be a blessed to have a wonderful father and a wonderful husband to be a father to my children!
