Client Project... Parents Living Room Reveal

I am so excited to finally reveal my parents complete living room!  My mom and dad have worked so very hard on this project!  Of course the process has not been easy... there has been pipe on backorder, tile purchased that was to dark, and many yards of welt; but it all turned out just amazing!  Now before you comment that I did just a good job, it really was all of my parents!  I was there sounding board, but this is all them!

If you don't remember the before...

The fireplace just had to be centered on the wall!  The media niche was just too small and the fireplace was ugly.  It really was my moms dream to have built in shelves to display things and cabinets to store there electronics.  By centering the fireplace they were able to put in 18" cabinets on each side.

Such an amazing transformation!  They also took on upholstering of 4 chairs in the room!

I revealed this chair a few weeks ago.  I love the stripe and the navy welt!

This is the most recent pair they finished. I really love the pop of yellow in the room.  This is the fabric we based the room off of.  It was $3 a yard in the clearance bin!  I love that this room finally feeling complete! There are a few more items, but for now this room is complete!

Gorgeous! I can't believe what a difference centering the fireplace and adding built-ins made in the room. I know it must have been a lot of work, but it really paid off, the whole room looks terrific.

You all are like what the Mannings are to football - just a family full of talent! :) And spot on centering the fireplace. It makes all the difference. And that surround is amazeballs.

This came together beautifully! You and your parents did an awesome job with this room. Love the color combo and I think the striped chair is my favorite (I'm a sucker for stripes). The fireplace looks wonderful as well!
