As I said yesterday my dad is making huge headway in their house. He has closed up the fireplace/entertainment center and is on to the finishing work. He had to wait for a pipe to be ordered so in his down time I tackled two of the chairs that needed to be reupholstered.
If you don't recall.. these are the befores!
You may have noticed, but my dad can pretty much do anything! And I am not saying that just because he is my dad... he really can!
Of course my dad matched the stripes across the whole chair, and my mom made the cushion to do the same. I love how the navy piping pops! This was my mom first time making piping, and of course hers was better then mine!!
Here are some progress pics of the fireplace/entertainment center.
We are waiting on the glass for the shelves above the cabinets.
The TV fits perfectly!
This is the tile for the surround. I LOVE THIS TILE!!!
They ordered safety glass in a water texture for the cabinets so all of the A/V equipment will work.
These glass knobs are perfect! At certain angles they look gold due to the brass backing!
