Spray Painters Anonymous.... Cre8tive Motives

My name is Mandy and I'm a spray-paint-aholic. I'm so happy to be here today and be a part of Tiffany's fun series. Since I started blogging I have been spray painting anything and everything I see in sight nowadays. If I see something in a store that is not my choice of color I still purchase it because I know I can spraypaint it into any color I want. That's the beauty of paint in a can.
Like this picture frame I came across at Target. I loved the whimsy details the frame had but I was not set on the lime green color. I still bought it because I knew it would be an easy color fix.

So I picked up a can of Rust-oleum Semi Gloss and Primer. Yes that's metal primer you see there, hubby actually bought me the wrong one. I suppose that's what I get for sending him to the store,ha. I still used it, although I wouldn't recommend it unless your actually painting "metal."

I gave it one 1 light coat of primer and 2 light coats of semi gloss front and back.

And that's it, simple yet fresh. If I ever get tired of this color I know can always spray paint it again!

Thanks for confirming my addiction Tiffany, and letting me share my project with your fabulous readers!

Thank you Mandy!  I love taking the simplest things and making them personal!  Have you seen Mandy's blog? It has recently become a daily read for me and I love it!!!

Cre8ive Motives

She just recently finished remodeling her kitchen and we are all waiting patiently for the reveal!!!

And now let us all repeat the Spray Painters Mantra:
Friends, help me source all the items I am searching for but can not find.
Give me the vision to think outside of the box and remember the can of spray paint,
and bless me with the patience to let each of the coats dry before I move on to the next step!

Cookies and coffee are in the back! =)

If you need support for your spray painting addiction and would like to "attended" a meeting
please contact me!

We always love to know other addicts, and can always use more inspiration for our projects!

All of us spray paint addicts think alike. Wrong color...no problem...buy it now and spray it later! Love it!

Hi Tiffany! I came over from Mandy's blog! I'm pretty much a spraypaint-aholic as well, so I'm thinking I'm going to need to attend these meetings ;)

Lovely, Mandy! I like the green, but the white's so much more versatile. :)

As always, thanks for this series, Tiffany! :-D

I love white, so this makeover's an A+ in my books. I so need this support group. When I spray painted a bunch of accessories for my play kitchen it was too cold outside, so I painted in my basement and got everything (suitcases, canned goods) covered in paint. I think I have a problem, lol.

Hi, I'm visiting from Cre8ive Motives. Love this project, Mandy! I love me some spray paint. So much that I am about to spray paint the electrical and cable box as well as gas meter on the side of my house. :)

Great reminder to look at the shape of an object. The color can be easily changed!
