Client Project... Parents Entry

I have said that I get my design eye and budget savvy from my mom, but I also must have gotten my zero patience from her as well! We went shopping for the stuff that she needed to have to and came home with stuff that was not necessary needs... but amazing stuff that could not pass up because of their great deals!

The biggest find were the items to complete the entry look she was really loving!  Remember this cover of the magazine she has been using for inspiration...

Thought she is undecided right now on adding the lavender color in a fabric form, she was totally on board to recreate this look.

I feel like the look above in the magazine would have costed well over $1,000!  This look in total was under $300!  The table and mirror we found on Craigslist for $70 and $100, respectively.  The vase was on clearance at HomeGoods for $55... it is Lenox and would have sold for at least $200!  The lavender is from Hobby Lobby and with my 40% off coupon {twice} the bunch of flowers were only $50!  I think we still would like to find some candle sticks for the sides, but those will take some sourcing!

***Also a kitchen update***
The decision has been made to go with Option 2.

Moving the opening seemed to be the best option for the space and since $ IS a factor, it will make the space function as they want it to without a huge price tag.  We also bought some amazing full length mirrors to go on the wall opposite the new opening.  Very exciting to see it all coming together!
