My New Years Eve Party... via pinterest

Now that the crazy of christmas is over, it is time to think about what you will be doing for new years eve.  Typically I host a new years eve party.  In the past it has been huge, other years it has been small, and one year I found out I was pregnant with M the day before I threw a big party; but every year I believe you should ring in the new year with some sort of celebration.  And then your year will be full of them!  Right???

This year the hubs is off for new years eve, but will be on duty for new years day... so he has asked that we do not have a party, in which he will have to stay up late to clean up.  And since my parents will still be in town, we can go somewhere else with out them!  WAHOO!! So where do you think we would go on a KID FREE new years eve?  To my best friends house with all of our friends and their kids!!!!  HA!  It will be great, I am looking forward to it!

I was browsing Pinterest; looking for nothing in particular, and was seeing some of the fantastic ideas for a new years party.  I thought I would throw out some inspiration.

I love the idea of clocks for a theme!  Totally fun!

This would be so easy to do; a charger with a glass plate from the $ store... sort of like my Christmas Dinner Table!

I think all of the noise makers make great decor for a new years eve party!

I hope everyone has a fantastic {and safe} new years celebration!

Love the single stem in a glass idea! I like the clock chargers, but I don't want to store them all year long. The balloons on the wall is super fun and kids would love that! Our 13-year old wants to be the chef for the evening...just us 4...and probably a lot of Justin Bieber music :D
