So with the transformation of my wingback chairs, I really need to pay a little more attention to the rest of the room!
Here is how it currently looks:
I have quite a long list of things I need to do... not big things but a lot of small things.
This room has brown, brown, and brown! I am not going to touch my piano or antique armrior so I have to change the other browns in the room! I am going to start with making a table skirt for the entry console table. The boys put their shoes in the basket and I would love to be able to hide that. I went shopping for fabric today with my mom and we both fell in love with this combo:
See what I do with this later in the week. I want to also refinish the small half round table by the front door... maybe a little paint and detail? I am on the hunt for fun fabric for my piano bench. I am thinking about using my greek key I used for these two projects {bench, memory board} but I think I could find something a little different.
I am also going to attempt 2 art projects... my first ever!! I think this will really finish off the room and make a great first impression when you walk through the front door {well if the art turns out right then the impression will be great... not so much if it fails}!

First of all, I am in love with your piano! Secondly, I can't wait to see what you do in here! I'm looking forward to learning how you do your DIY art. My dining room walls need something, but I'm so fickle and just can't decide what to do in there, so I need some inspiration :)
You've got some great ideas! I'm really looking forward to seeing how it looks in the end. I just used that fabric for a client and I looooove it!!
