Spray Painters Anonymous {meeting #1}

"Hello, my name is Tiffany and I am a spray-paint-addict!"
 As the blog world says "Hi Tiffany" because I know I am not alone!

Seriously I think I have formed a small huge addiction to spray paint.  I know every time my hubs comes home to find my table, drop cloth, and a smelly haze of paint in the garage he must be rolling his eyes {but in his head, because he is awesome when it comes to my crazy projects!}  Here are my partners in crime:

{Yes that is a beer... It is finally hot here in Nor Cal!!}
I thought it was time to get a little more creative with my can... I wanted to add something extra!

Here is my latest:

before..

This is a glass bowl I bought at the $ store.  Since it is warm and all of the fruit is blossoming I love to leave fruit on the counter to much on all day.  Since I am putting food in here I wanted to leave the glass cleanable {thought: I'm not 100% sure, but I am pretty sure spray paint isn't good for food... but maybe spraying some fruit for display and NOT eating it... SEE... this is a problem}  ANYWAYS... I taped off the inside of the bowl.

Then turned it upside down on another can of spray paint and sprayed away.

Next I took some tape and taped off my lines.  I am not a patient person by any means, but you have to wait for the first layer of paint to completely dry!
Next to create my "design" I ripped some painters tape in into pieces and created my stripe.  I wanted to have leave a gold ring on the top so I added tape to the rim also.

Spray with other color.  Take off the tape.  A little touch up was needed but not too much.  It sort of gives the gold a leafy, hand applied look.

I also attacked the glass vase...

I just took some twine, wrapped the skinny part of the vase, and spayed away!

Just adds the little something extra I was going for.

This is only half of what I sprayed!  I will share the rest tomorrow at our next meeting!
{coffee and cookies are in the back ;) }
