It always amazes me what a can of paint can do! I am constantly telling clients, family, friends {really anyone who will listen} what they can do with a can of paint; spray can or regular. There are so many color options... changing something to fit in with a new decor scheme is so easy! Most of the time I will suggest painting whatever it is a different color before going out and purchasing something new. Or have found items that are the perfect shape or size but needed to be a different color. And for as little as $4 for a can of spray... it fits any budget!!
Here is my most recent paint job:
I have been on the search for a new vase for my entry table. I have found many that I like, but nothing I love, and right now I NEED to LOVE it to spend any $ {or hear the wrath of the hubs}!! I still really liked the vase in it's original state, so I wasn't sure I wanted to paint it out... in case of future use somewhere else. But I really wanted a change more so I bit the bullet.
I am in love with this color... it is going to be my new favorite, Rust-oluem Gloss Night Tide. {I had to hand paint the gold streaks} It is a whole new vase! I have some major plans for this entry table, and my from piano room.... but for now the new vase color will have to do! I can't wait to share my plans!
If you are new to spray painting here is my new favorite tool:
It gives you a clean, even, constant spray and keeps the over spray to a minimum. It spray in half the time and it keeps the paint off of your fingers! I know that I am not the first to discover this... but I feel like it is a big secret that no one is sharing!! You can pick it up at any home improvement store.
So remember... before you go and buy something else, buy a can of spray paint and it will change your world!!
I will be linking this up to Sarah's Link Party @ Thrifty Decor Chick:
It is a day late... But still! One would think that in the middle of May it would be warmer than 60 degrees!!! This weather here in Nor Cal does not make for good spray painting weather.
Head over there to see what all of the other cool people are doing with spray paint!
